Aria Commodities Submits Mbuyura Coal Project Report After Successful Exploration Work

Aria Commodities Company has successfully completed exploration activities at its Mbuyura Coal Project, located in the Mbuyura Coal Field of Ruvuma Region. The project, which began in September 2024, concluded in March 2025, with all results formally submitted for review and evaluation.

During the exploration phase, the project team carried out detailed geological mapping to identify key structures, stratigraphy, and coal seam orientations. This work enabled the team to highlight priority target zones and design an effective drilling grid for further investigation.

Subsequent scout and resource drilling confirmed the presence and thickness of coal seams, providing valuable insights into subsurface continuity and mineral distribution. The data collected were complemented by geotechnical and lithological logging, which analyzed rock quality, geomechanical properties, and lithological variations.

Using these findings, the company conducted resource estimation to determine coal quantity and quality, forming the technical foundation for economic assessment and forward project planning.
